about us

The Song Writing, Recording and Music Production Partnership of Alan Cadwallader and Barrie Taylor.

Formed back in the late autumn of 1985 the partnership had one simple aim......to write record and produce great music.

Writing, recording and producing songs in the comfort and convenience of their own studio in, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom, they have, throughout the years been involved with many different projects and numerous musicians such as the very talented vocalist Steve Butler (Cliff Richard/ Barclay James Harvest) vocalist Mathew Ford (BBC/ London Concert Orchestra/ John Wilson Orchestra) vocalist Rachel Ashley (just about everyone!). Producers Nigel Stonier (Lindisfarne/ Thea Gilmore) Arny Sage (Shane Ritchie/Peter Kay/Kim Marsh) Gary Hadfield (Blueprint Studios) also with Graeme Park (Manchester Hacienda/ Key 103), Paul Birchall (M. People), JK & Joel (Key 103/ BBC Radio One), also with writers Camberjem (Shayne Ward/ N Trance), bands Moriarty, Pro-Create, Panacea, Hoi-Polloi, The Executive, Green Vigo, John E Taylor, The Andy Penzak Trio and many other friends colleagues and like minded individuals along the way.

Always looking to take the Cadwallader-Taylor sound to new levels, the ultimate aim of Alan and Barrie is the same today as it was back in 1985......
